Siete Altares, Playa Blanca & Livingston
8:00 AM - about 4:30 PM
Seven freshwater pools and waterfalls on a jungle river, 600 m of white sand at Playa Blanca on the Caribbean, and Livingston -- the Garífuna town, reached only by water: try tapado, rice and beans with coconut and coconut bread. Q200 per person, cash to the driver. The trip needs at least Q600 (3 people) to go: the driver also takes guests from other hotels, so it's usually Q200 each, but if only 1 or 2 people go they pay the full Q600.
